USCIS announced that on June 4, 2018, it began issuing redesigned Citizenship and Naturalization certificates. The forms have been redesigned to better combat fraud and alteration and to make these documents more secure. The eight certificates that have been redesigned include Forms N-550, N-578, N-570, N-560A, N-560AB, N-645, N-645A, and N-561. The redesigned certificates feature a large, central image against a complex patterned background, which helps deter the alteration of personal data.
