USCIS Issues Policy Memo on H-1Bs Involving Third-Party Worksites

USCIS issued a policy memorandum, effective February 22, 2018, establishing agency policy in regards to H-1Bs filed for workers who will be employed at one or more third-party worksites. The policy memo spells out new requirements regarding end-client letters and itineraries and requires employers to include additional information and documentation in their H-1B filings. USCIS explained that the memo clarifies existing regulatory requirements and “aligns with President Trump’s Buy American and Hire American Executive Order.”
